Region C Strategic Plan
Alpha Phi Omega has just celebrated a significant milestone as an organization - 100 Years of existence. This is truly a remarkable achievement and should be celebrated!
However, if we are truly to continue to grow as an organization, we must ensure we plan for the future with intention. We must ensure as a Region, we have a solid understanding of where we are going as a National Fraternity, and that we have a strategy for achieving those goals here in Region C - one of the largest geographic regions in the country.
Region C has not adopted a strategic plan or long-term goals in nearly a decade. Over the course of the 2026-2027 year, this will change. The goal is to develop (and pass at the Region C Business Meeting) a five-year strategic plan for Region C. More will be shared during the course of the academic year, but a general timeline can be found below:
Region C Strategic Plan Timing:

August 2026 - Region C Strategic Planning Committee will open for nominations.

Students will hold 3 seats on the committee for every 1 alumni seat. Each Section is guaranteed a minimum of 1 seat for every 2 chapters in the Section.

September 2026 - Region C Strategic Planning Committee appointees announced.

Early October 2026 - Student & alumni town-halls held to gather input

Thanksgiving 2026 - Final Draft Proposal of Region C Strategic Plan circulated for input

MLK Weekend 2027 - Region C Conference (Kansas City, MO) - formal adoption of the Strategic Plan (including any proposed amendments) will be handled as part of the legislative agenda at the Region C Business Meeting.

Also being voted on at the Region C Business Meeting will be new, comprehensive Region & Section Policy Manuals for Region C.

Spring 2027 - Region Chair to publish Region C Strategic Plan to the Region-at-large and publish both the plan and a tracker/accountability tool on the Region C website.
